Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The GTAW (TIG) Welding Instructor is responsible for the daily operations of the program through a variety of responsibilities including: facilitation, instruction, and learner support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Deliver theory and practical instruction in:
 Oxy-Fuel welding, cutting, and gouging.
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).
Fabrication and repair of tubular structures.
Trade-related math, measurement, blueprint reading, and documentation. 
Provide instruction on shop and workplace safety.

Administer and oversee work practicum components, coordinating with industry partners.

Provide instruction and supervision in general lathe operations and milling procedures (e.g., test plates).

Ensure program compliance with industry standards.

Continuously improve the TIG welding program, implementing necessary updates and changes.
