Photocatalytic conversion of CO2 to high value-added products

In the frame of the project “Tailored-made catalysts for targeted reactions”, funded by Xunta de Galicia within the call Ayudas para la atracción y retención de talento investigador, we offer a research project aiming at the development of photocatalysts for the conversion of carbon dioxide into high value-added products. To achieve this goal, a fundamental catalyst design approach will be adopted in order to derive structure-performance relationships applying precision synthesis of nanostructured materials, evaluation of catalysts and kinetic studies, advanced characterization, and detailed mechanistic studies.

The selected candidate will conduct his doctoral thesis in the TeamNanoTech group at CINBIO ().
