TOC Operator

Iteris is seeking a Traffic Operations Center (TOC) Operator to monitor assigned roadways to detect, verify, and manage traffic impacts (e.g., congestion, crashes, roadwork). TOC Operators are designated as essential personnel and must be able to work in all conditions (e.g., severe weather, pandemic). The position requires a full commitment to the team and to the important mission of providing a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation system.



What you will be doing:




+ Work as a member of a team within an operations control room environment

+ Use CCTV to scan roadways and monitor traffic conditions

+ Monitor data feeds to obtain up-to-date traffic-related information

+ Initiate and manage response plans to support traffic incidents

+ Provide traveler information to the public
