The Tool Maker is responsible for planning, constructing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to close tolerances. This role requires advanced machining skills, precision measurement expertise, and a strong understanding of metal properties and tooling practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lay out work using blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal specifications.
• Construct, alter, repair, and maintain tooling including dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.
• Select appropriate materials, tools, and machining processes.
• Perform shop calculations and precision measurements.
