Tool and Die Maker

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Tool & Die Maker in our Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for ensuring tooling meets process expectations. The ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity, be detail-oriented and self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:


+ Compute dimensions and tolerances to set up machine tools

+ Position, secure, measure and work metal stock or castings to lay out for machining

+ Assemble/disassemble parts to test completed tools, dies, jigs or fixtures for proper operation

+ Directly work with suppliers to print, design, or build situations to ensure tool expectations are met
