Job Description

. Design & Development: Lead the creation of tooling systems (e.g., molding, stamping, casting) using CAD software, ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturing (DFMA) and meet product specs.

. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate tool designers, engineers, and technicians.

. Project Management: Oversee end-to-end tool development, from concept and prototypes to validation and production.

. Maintenance & Optimization: Establish preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve tool lifespan.

. Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and quality teams to solve tooling issues and enhance production efficiency.

. Budget & Purchasing: Manage tooling budgets and coordinate with suppliers for tool procurement and repairs.
