Job Description

Job Title: Tool Pre-setter Job Summary  Prepare and set up of cutting tools, tool holders, and related equipment for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines and maintain pre-set line inventory. Responsibility Setup and preset tools for production through the use of setup sheets and tooling drawings 
Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and measure tools for accuracy and compliance with technical drawings. 
Maintain detailed records of tool setups, adjustments, and inspections. Document tool performance and issues in data system. 
Perform cutting tool maintenance and simple repair. 
Assist in inventory control and replenishment for tooling and miscellaneous items. 
Distribution of materials in central stores. 
Academic/Educational Requirements Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
