Tooling Technician

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining aluminium dies by following proper procedures to avoid damage. Tasks include removing aluminium residue from dies, rinsing with water, carefully separating die components using chisel and hammer, ensuring complete residue removal, soaking further if needed, and thoroughly washing and cleaning once the die is cleared.
• Responsible for the proper cleaning, handling, and preparation of aluminium dies to ensure quality and prevent damage.
• Responsible for preparing dies before sandblasting by drying with an air gun, ensuring all aluminium residue and chemicals are thoroughly cleaned. Focus on cleaning the bearing area from impurities and handle dies carefully to prevent damage.
• Carry out die bearing polishing under bright conditions to ensure flatness and finesse. Use sandpaper with controlled strength to prevent damage, and finish all bearing edges in the required R-angle shape.
