Toolpath Programmer

Overview

Working Hours/Shift Pattern:

Mon-Fri 40 hours or 4 on 4 off

Role Purpose (Job Profile):

To produce high quality programs in sufficient time to meet the demands set out by the development and production plans for the formula one race car as well as external customers

Main Duties

• To carry out programming operations using Computer Aided Manufacture and Simulation Tools as directed by Tool Path Programming Manager




• To supply Production Engineered solutions in the form of CNC programs and all accompanying information to a level that will enable right first-time manufacture in an efficient timescale.




• To ensure components are produced in the most efficient, cost-effective way whilst keeping lead times to a minimum. This will involve liaising with other departments such as the Drawing Office, Machine Shop and Pattern Shop, e...
