Tourism Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Tourism Coordinator to assist a Council in Western QLD.

The position is to commence as soon as possible and will be for an initial duration of 6 months

Skills / Experience Required:

• An understanding of marketing and tourism trends in regional areas with experience in implementing tourism strategies.
• Experience in the management and operation of Visitor Information Centres.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence and foster teamwork.
• Highly developed project management, organisational, and financial management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively across multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with key stakeholders, community groups, event organisers and government agencies.
