About the role

This permanent position will report directly to the Cane Railway Supervisor. You will be a key member of the Track Maintenance Team achieving targets in relation to safety, quality and productivity and will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with team members.

As a minimum you will hold the following:

• Queensland Drivers Licence (MR minimum).
• General Construction Induction (White Card).

It is also desirable that the successful applicant shall hold or be willing to obtain licences / qualifications and gain experience for:

• Railway Track Maintenance
• Basic Oxy/acetylene cutting and Welding
• DG Dogger and / or CN Non Slew Crane High Risk Work Licence
• Backhoe or Front End Loader competency and experience
