Job Description

TRACTOR BACKHOE OPERATOR – Water & Sewer Construction 
 
WCL is looking for an experienced Underground Tractor Backhoe Operator to support our water and sewer crews following earthworks. This role focuses on running a hoe pack on a backhoe and potentially a track hoe, compacting clay around existing utilities as well as helping the wheel loader with aggregate and material organization. 
 
WHAT YOU NEED:
3+ years experience operating tractor backhoes in underground water and sewer or heavy civil construction.
Strong ability to work around existing utilities and live services. 
Comfortable supporting mainline crews with aggregate and material as needed. 
Strong understanding of trench safety and underground job site practices. 
Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
