Trade Compliance Specialist

Position overview:

We are seeking an experienced Import and Export Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods for our IMMEX operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all import and export activities, ensuring adherence to Mexican customs regulations, managing Carta Porte, and maintaining effective communication with vendors, customs brokers, and internal departments.Main responsibilities:

Customs Compliance and Documentation:

Prepare and verify import and export documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, and Carta Porte.

Ensure compliance with IMMEX, VAT, and other regulatory requirements for imports and exports, staying up to date with changes in Mexican customs law.

Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other service providers to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
