Job description:
Role Overview
You will drive trade development from Southeast Asia (SEA) to the Middle East Gulf (MEG) on the Westbound lane, while monitoring and reporting on Eastbound performance. Reporting to the Commercial Line Manager, you will support the achievement of overall commercial and trade objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and interpret market intelligence, leveraging data analysis to develop and refine pricing strategies.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities, proactively adjusting pricing in alignment with management guidelines.
Manage all pricing and rate enquiries from agencies for the Southeast Asia–Middle East Gulf trade lane.
Drive initiatives to optimise revenue, profitability, and vessel utilisation.
Analyse weekly performance, prepare forecasts, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
