 WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Trade Officer supports with end-to-end processing of Trade Finance product i.e. Import and Export Letter of Credit and Standby Letter of Credit. The competence with which the incumbent’s duties are carried out has a major impact on operational, financial and on the reputation risks of the RBC globally and on its clients.WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Responsible for end to end processing/release function such as issuing/amendment, demand checking and cancellations.

  • Manage internal and external client relationships from a service perspective, including direct client interactions where appropriate.

  • Exercise diligence in complying with operational risk policies and guidelines.

  • Performs checks and release on Import and Export Letter of Credit and Standby Letters of credit within delegated authorities
