Trade Operations Specialist

Salling Search is currently assisting an international commodity trading house to look for a Trade Operations Specialist for their Singapore office.

Only candidates with the following experience and qualifications will be considered for this role.

• The candidate must have experience with Letters of Credit (LC) in the commodity trading sector.
• Must have at least 2 years of Trade Finance/Operations experience in a physical commodity environment (preferably cement or dry bulk, though steel and similar physical commodities may also be considered).
• Candidates with only banking experience will not be considered, as LC processes differ significantly in banks. Our hiring managers specifically prefer candidates with LC experience in trading environments.
