JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the daily real-time WESM trading operation considering efficiency and profitability. Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of bids and offers to the Market, accurate price of offered capacity, and to develop strategies for an efficient trading operation. Responsible for real- time market monitoring and to make decisions based on the market situation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs real-time energy trading.
2. Ensures that offered capacity is accurate and timely.
3. Ensures that price declaration is reasonable and accurate.
4. Optimizes profit thru energy trading.
5. Monitors Power Energy, WESM Prices and Forecast, and Grid Situations.
6. Generates daily reports.
7. Develops strategies for more efficient market operation.
8. Implement assigned action plans as per department's Strategic Plan.
9. Comply with company policies, safety rules and code of conduct.
