Trades Assistant

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant to join our team at Skyline Rotorua. In this varied role, you’ll carry out a wide range of day-to-day maintenance tasks and assist our on-site Builder with a variety of project work across the site.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position, worked Monday to Friday.



The perfect candidate will be 

Highly experienced in general maintenance or building tasks, including concreting, plumbing, and carpentry.

Confident using tools, equipment, and materials common to building and maintenance work.

A practical problem-solver with the ability to work independently when needed.

A strong communicator who works well in a team environment.

Physically fit and able to safely perform manual tasks.

Holder of a full NZ Driver’s License.
