Trading Analyst (Coal)

Role Overview

The Trading Analyst (Coal) will support the commercial trading team through market analysis, pricing support, exposure monitoring, and trade execution activities across APAC coal markets. This role will work closely with traders, operations, risk, and finance teams to support commercial decision-making and optimize trading performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor physical coal, freight, and derivatives markets across APAC regions
• Analyze market trends, supply-demand movements, pricing dynamics, and arbitrage opportunities
• Support traders with cargo pricing, freight calculations, and market intelligence
• Assist in P&L tracking, exposure monitoring, and pricing analysis across trading activities
