Traditional Helper

Waseskun Healing Centre , in operation since 1988, is located 90 km north of Montreal. We are currently seeking a Traditional Helper to support Indigenous male offenders in our centre as they continue their healing journeys.

• Coordination with the program and case management team
• Assisting the men at our centre in group and individual sessions
• Participating in activities
• Other tasks as required

• Extensive knowledge of Indigenous realities
• Strong understanding of Indigenous culture and traditions
• Experience working with Indigenous men and/or offenders
• Experience facilitating group sessions
