Traffic Safety Engineer

Iteris is looking for a Traffic Safety Engineer in the Transportation/Traffic Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will work on-site at VDOT Salem District 3-4 days per week and primarily focus on assisting VDOT engineering safety study program to including conducting site visits, drafting speed studies, fatal crash reviews, truck restrictions and routine work order requests from VDOT Residency offices or District personnel. The position may also provide limited support to other divisions including Location & Design, Maintenance, Construction, and Bridge divisions as necessary.
