Key Responsibilities

Driving & Logistics: Operate semi-trucks for long-haul deliveries, plan efficient routes using GPS/maps, and meet deadlines.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections (tires, brakes, fluids), report defects, and perform basic upkeep.

Cargo Management: Load/unload goods, ensure proper securing (chains, binders), verify load accuracy, and prevent damage during transit.

Safety & Compliance: Obey all traffic laws, maintain logbooks (hours of service), and follow company safety policies strictly.

Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, fuel logs, mileage records, and other transport documents.

Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and sometimes customers to manage deliveries and resolve issues.
