Trained Caregiver

Overview

Genting Dementia Care Centre operates on a charitable basis to offer daycare services to people suffering from dementia. If you are passionate about caring for the elderly and have great enthusiasm for learning, we would love for you to join us!

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with the Centre Manager and Rehab Coordinators to provide high standard of care giving for clients.
• Safe handling and administration of elderly.
• Act as advocate for clients and their family caregivers.
• Ensure good communication with peers, clients and those referring in to the service.

Qualifications

• Min SPM or Diploma in Nursing or Physiotherapy will be added advantage.
• No experience required as training will be provided.
• Caring and patient attitude towards elderly people with the ability to think and act quickly.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin will be added advantage.
