Trainee ShipBroker
Our client, an established global ship broking firm, is looking for a Trainee ShipBroker to join their Handysize team.
Job Description
  • Responsibilities would include negotiating and fixing of ships.
  • Drawing up full recap upon fixing the deal.
  • Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.
  • Provide market updates and research for clients.
  • Maintain existing client relationships
Requirements
  • A good university degree majoring in Maritime Studies or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of the Offshore market will be an advantage
  • Articulate with good inter-personal skills
  • Possess strong communication skills and customer oriented
  • Expected to work independently
