Training and Compliance Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for endorsement, monitoring, and identification of course compliance requirements of seafarers by specific vessel assignments, Course Matrix, Certificate Matrix, and CMS requirements.

2. Coordinates with the Maritime Training Institutions (MTI) for training enrollments, documentation (i.e., referral forms), logistic needs, and training-related activities.

3. Prepares training documents, including, but not limited to, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), as applicable, and training forms.

4. Prepares logistics arrangements such as but not limited to training briefings/instructions for the seafarers.

5. Inform the Training Manager, Senior Crewing Officer, Crewing Officer, and Seafarer of any canceled training by the training provider or, as a result, of the Seafarer's fault.
