About the Role
Metta Welfare Association supports adults aged 18–55 with intellectual disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and developmental delays.
As a Training Officer, you will work directly with clients at our Day Activity Centres to support their daily routines, life skills, and social development. This is a meaningful, hands-on role where you help clients grow in confidence, independence, and well-being.
No prior disability experience? Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
What You Will Do
• Support clients in daily living, communication, and social skills
• Assist with centre activities, routines, and simple outings
• Support positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Observe and report clients' progress and needs
