Translator

The Translator has established Translator skills to perform various day-to-day activities. The Translator can recognize and solve typical General Services problems with limited supervisory approval. Their work directly impacts their team through the quality of the services or information provided.

• Higher linguistic and/or Engineering education
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil and gas translation
• Must have good knowledge of methods and techniques of scientific and technical translation
• Able to coordinate systems and interfaces, both within the translation team and between translators and project teams
• Knowledgeable to use specialized dictionaries and reference books and how to work with unknown terms not included in dictionaries. Shall know how to search to identify their meaning and to render it adequately
