Translator

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chinese Translator to be assigned at our solar project site. The role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication between Chinese People and Filipino workers during the construction and installation of solar power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate oral translation (Mandarin to English/Filipino and vice versa) during meetings, toolbox talks, and daily site operations
• Assist Chinese supervisors and engineers in coordinating with local staff
• Support communication during inspections, installations, and testing activities
• Help bridge cultural and language gaps on site
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written is a plus)
• At least 2-3 years' experience as a translator (construction/solar industry is an advantage)
• Willing to stay and work on-site (field assignment)
• Strong understanding of technical or construction terminology is a plus
