CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team is a key player in the energy transition. We support clients at all stages of projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning.

The position is Transmission Lines Civil Designer. You will work with the T&D Lines Leadership Team on some of Canada’s largest infrastructure projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop safe engineering solutions through design, problem analysis, and interpreting specifications for medium complexity utilities projects.
• Assist project/operations management in meeting safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets by proposing plan changes, recommending contractor payments, preparing progress reports, and coordinating work schedules.
• Resolve highly technical and unusual design and field engineering problems through independent studies, analysis, and judgment.
