Role Descriptions

Design and implement security architectures for transmission networks (optical, DWDM, IPMPLS, microwave, and metro backbone networks).

Lead security hardening of transmission equipment, including routers, switches, optical transport systems, and network management platforms.

Implement and maintain encryption technologies (MACsec, IPsec, optical layer encryption).

Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis for transmission infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with security frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, PCI where applicable).

Develop and enforce transmission security policies, standards, and operating procedures.

Lead incident response and root cause analysis for transmission-related security events.
