Transport Driver

Posts and Hours Available

• POST 1: 36 hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–5:00 pm
• POST 2: 4 hours, Saturday only 11:30 am–3:30 pm
• POST 3: Bank, 0 hours – as required

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver laboratory specimens, pharmacy supplies, store goods, patient transports, clinical waste and other items.
• Drive as a lone worker throughout Fife and surrounding areas (Edinburgh, Dundee), following route maps and timed duty schedules.
• Operate vehicles including cars, vans, minibuses and 3.5 tonne lorries.
• Handle physical tasks such as moving cages, stores, medical notes, equipment, furniture, clinical waste bins, and laboratory & pharmacy boxes.
• Maintain communication and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills.
