This position is located in Bogotá as part of the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVMC). The Transport Officer will lead the Transport Unit and report to the Chief of Service Delivery Section.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Management / Sector Motor Transport duties
  • Plan, manage, and supervise surface motor transport support.
  • Develop and implement vehicle acquisition, maintenance, recovery, and resale plans.
  • Implement road safety programs and a driving‑test program that ensures all vehicle users have the required skills and permits.
  • Control inventory and perform annual vehicle checks.
  • Produce performance reports, audit responses, and coordinate with audit bodies.
  • Define technical specifications, evaluate vendor bids, and manage contracts.
