Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end
land freight transport operations
including local and cross-border trucking. Plan and optimize routes, schedules, and load allocation to maximize fleet efficiency and reduce transit time. Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and third-party logistics partners for smooth execution. Oversee fleet utilization, maintenance scheduling, and vehicle availability. Ensure accurate preparation and handling of transport documents (delivery orders, waybills, permits, etc.). Monitor shipment movement and proactively resolve delays, breakdowns, or route disruptions. Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and cross-border requirements. Control and optimize operational costs including fuel, tolls, and vendor charges.
