Transportation Electrical Co-op Student

Reporting to the Program Manager, Transportation , the Transportation Electrical Co-op Student is primarily responsible for designing and drafting streetlighting and traffic signals infrastructure. This role is open to students available for an 8, 12, or 16-month term starting in May 2026. Applications should include a short cover letter and current transcript.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design of Streetlighting and Traffic Signal infrastructure for land development, municipal, and provincial projects in a variety of jurisdictions.
• Learn to interpret and apply relevant Streetlighting and Traffic Signal standards across multiple municipalities.
• Drafting streetlighting and traffic signal drawings using AutoCAD.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to ensure project deadlines are met.
