Transportation Manager

Position Summary

The Transportation Manager is accountable for ensuring the safe execution, monitoring and analysis of all outbound deliveries from the distribution centre to its restaurants within its designated region. In addition, this role will ensure optimized equipment utilization while driving overall cost reductions without impacting store delivery targets.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor daily dispatch functions, as well as creating and maintaining a master delivery schedule
  • Develop and administer cost‑effective delivery schedules
  • On‑going driver/supervisor training (e.g., Xata, Paragon, etc.)
  • Ensure the department achieves operational goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Ensure weekly Pride (key performance indicators) reporting is complete and accurate
