Summary Statement for the Translator



To translate written documents from English into Russian and from Russian to English.



Primary Duties and Responsibilities


To provide oral and written translation (consecutive and simultaneous) services.

To proof-read and edit texts which have been translated by colleagues, if necessary.

To operate a variety of standard office machines (e.g. photocopier, fax, calculator, etc.).

To communicate between office locations using established procedures and instructions.

To strictly maintain confidentiality of all translated documents.

To carry out any other duty when required outside the normal daily routine.

To follow general employment rules as part of this job description and contract.
