Tree Surveyor

Cheshire West and Chester Council are responsible for over hectares (ha) of woodland and over , trees in public spaces, gardens, and parks.

As the Highway Authority for the borough, responsible for the management of around ,km of public highways, the Council, also has a responsibility for managing the risk presented by trees in private ownership close to our highways.

We are looking to recruit a Tree Surveyor to our Tree Team based at the Guilden Sutton Highways Depot on the outskirts of Chester.

Working within the Council's Transport and Highways Service, the successful candidate will provide technical expertise and assist in the delivering the responsibilities of the Tree Team to manage the Council’s tree stock and ensure its risks are managed appropriately.
