3-4 months contract Role with a local authority Job Purpose To lead and manage the Local Authoritys response to SEND Tribunal appeals, ensuring legal compliance, high-quality case preparation, and effective representation. The role focuses on delivering timely, child-centred outcomes while promoting early dispute resolution and improving services for children and young people with SEND. Key Duties/Accountabilities Lead the SEND Tribunal function, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and statutory frameworks. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and quality standards. Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on trends, risks, and improvements. Oversee all SEND appeals from registration to resolution.
