A Trichologist (Doctor) specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the hair and scalp. They provide expert care for issues such as hair loss, dandruff, scalp psoriasis, alopecia, and other scalp disorders. The role involves conducting consultations, performing scalp analysis, recommending personalized treatment plans, and offering advice on hair care and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed consultations with patients to assess hair and scalp conditions.
Diagnose problems such as hair thinning, hair loss (alopecia), dandruff, scalp infections, and other dermatological issues.
Use diagnostic tools (e.g., dermatoscopes, trichoscopes, and scalp analysers) to evaluate scalp and hair health.
