Job Description

Dexter Construction Company is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking the qualifications and expertise of a Truck & Trailer Mechanics.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
Complete reports to record problems and work performed adjust, repair or replace parts and components of transport truck and truck-trailer systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance services.
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
