Truck Driver/Helper

• Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations. Arrive at destinations on schedule
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups. Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route
• Interact with Vendor/ PM/ IC professionally at all times
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use. Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date. Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
• Load and unload cargo, Record cargo deliveries, Refuel and clean vehicle, Report Road incidents to the dispatcher.
• Follow traffic laws, inspect trucks and record issues, follow accident procedures, keep activities log and log hours.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel, get goods to the client on time, keep commercial driver license up to date
