Introduction

A leading engineering and mineral processing services company is seeking an experienced TSF Superintendent to take overall responsibility for Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) operations on a mining project in Angola. This is a critical, risk-sensitive role responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and sustainable management of tailings facilities in line with international best practice.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct and manage daily TSF operations including tailings deposition, decant return systems and water balance management
• Ensure TSF operations comply with environmental regulations, legal requirements and international standards such as GISTM and ANCOLD
• Provide technical oversight in collaboration with the Engineer of Record (EoR) and external consultants
• Review geotechnical performance data, monitoring instrumentation and inspection reports to identify anomalies
