Job Description
The Payroll Executive will be responsible for assisting in the processing of the company's payroll. This includes ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in the UK, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls .
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Calculate and process statutory payments (e.g., SSP, SMP, SPP).
Compliance and Record Keeping:
Ensure compliance with UK payroll regulations and tax laws.
Prepare and submit payroll tax returns and other required reports.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
