DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate machines called sonographic scanners that create images of patients' internal organs.

Helping patients prepare for the procedure. Explaining the process, helping them to move to the table, preparing the skin surface by application of gel before using the equipment.

Maintaining the records of patients for future reference.

Present images and preliminary findings to physicians.

Making sure that the image produced by the equipment is clear for the diagnosis. Else making adjustments of the equipment to get better images.

Daily census, Monthly Pf, assist Ob and Radio Dr. in performing Esp. Procedure (i.e SIS, FNAB ,HSSG)

Qualification:

• License Radiologic Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist
• Exposure in ultrasound and strong knowledge in sonography
