Overview

Traditional synagogue in North York (Toronto) seeks to form a permanent quartet (SATB) of classically trained professional singers to enhance religious prayer services at least one Saturday per month and during major Jewish holidays. Competitive pay. Additional opportunities TBD.

Qualifications

• Due to the ritual-related nature of the work, all singers must be Jewish.
• Must have solid sight-reading skills and be comfortable singing without any instrumental accompaniment.
• Prior synagogue experience is preferred, but not required.
