Underwater Acoustics Specialist (Quebec)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Acoustics Specialist with experience in underwater acoustics and submarine detection, ideally within the Airborne or Naval Anti‑Submarine Warfare (ASW) domain. The role supports the development, testing and operational use of acoustic processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design operator interfaces and document expected system behavior in product operator manuals.
• Conduct acoustic data analysis and post‑mission analysis to improve product performance.
• Plan and execute operational testing and evaluation, including harbour and sea acceptance tests at GDMS‑C and customer premises.
• Develop and conduct product training for experienced acoustics operators.
• Create realistic acoustic test scenarios for the testing and qualification of acoustic processor products.
