Job Description
The Underwriter Analyst is responsible for conducting credit reviews, approval, and credit monitoring. The overall objective of this role is to manage the exposure of Citi's portfolio to local clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conducts risk assessments and customer credit analyses, reviews financial results and peer reviews, and prepares financial projections;
- Prepares transaction approval and permit memos, conducts due diligence, creates cash flow models, and conducts sensitivity analyses;
- Escalates credit concerns/updates to risk and business managers and proposes risk mitigation measures, continuously staying informed of developments/news related to the portfolio and the covered sector and understanding Citi's credit process, policies and risk appetite;
- Assists in preparing portfolio review and conducting stress tests. Builds working relationships with multiple teams across the bank, including offerings, coverage, and product teams;
