Underwriter Engineering & Construction

We are currently supporting an international specialty insurer in the search for a Construction & Engineering Underwriter to join their Zurich team.

This role focuses on underwriting Contractors All Risks (CAR) and Erection All Risks (EAR) risks - both on a single project and annual basis - across the EMEA region , with a particular emphasis on German-speaking markets and continental Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a profitable Construction & Engineering portfolio aligned with global underwriting strategy
• Assess risks technically and apply appropriate terms and conditions
• Develop broker and client relationships and support business development in target regions
