Underwriter

Job Purpose

To plan and monitor for underwriting and risk selection activities towards enhance portfolio growth and profitability and ensuring compliance to stipulated guidelines and regulation to ensure the objective is met

Job Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to collaborate and synergize with Sales to make accurate and sound underwriting decisions that achieve the budgeted Gross Written Premium for the Commercial Underwriting team.

• You will manage the portfolio to ensure profitability of the budgeted combined ratio, loss ratio for Fire Insurance

• You will executing overall company's underwriting direction based on current market condition/ experience to ensure profitability.

• You will review of renewal and provide recommendations to improve underwriting results.
