Job Description

Purpose of Role
Leading the Underwriting function for the Accident & Health business in a manner that contributes to profitability by achieving product and portfolio management objectives
Drive the Accident & Health new product development process from product documentation requirements, system requirements, submission for approvals both internally and externally. Assist Product Lines with marketing requirements including product launches, product design and planning.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead the underwriting function for Accident & Health, assessing risk and underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with established guidelines, with a focus on growth and profitability.
Monitor performance across all lines of business, products, channels, and major sponsors, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met, and taking timely corrective actions as needed.
